tree photos by myoung ho lee

'tree' photographs by myoung ho lee.

'the young korean artist, has produced an elaborate
series of photos that pose some unusual questions
about representation, reality, art, environment and
seeing. simple in concept, complex in execution.
myoung makes the viewer look at a tree in its natural
surroundings, but separates the tree artificially from
nature by presenting it on an immense white
background'.

'harness' 2006

robert wechsler is a young american artist based in los angles. his work transforms everyday objects into unique
creations that add a humorous sense of play. a toaster coil is turned into a neon sign, while a hamster wheel
becomes a musical instrument. his work plays with the inanimate nature of objects, like 'beast', a toy shaped like

an animal and the contiguous united states.

swann - 3, 2005

photographer bill durgin creates disturbingly serene images of human figures folded and collapsing in on
themselves until reduced to pathetic amorphous forms. his work unconventionally explores aspects of
life study and the body's relationship to space. located within empty but not blank rooms, the figures are
provided a narrative elevating them from being purely sculptural forms.
