clipped from www.designboom.com 'shibboleth' by doris salcedo an installation entitled shibboleth by doris salcedo opened yesterday in london's tate modern turbine hall. the piece is a literal chasm in the main hall's floor. it will remain in place for the duration of the exhibition, at which point it will be filled in, leaving a subtle scar in the building's floor.
